The soundtrack itself feels somewhat lacking as well compared to other Capcom platformer, but it does fit the mood so I'm fine with that. The beating of the wings, the fireball, getting hit.it just doesn't mix well imo. I think the reason is that I personally do not like the sound effects used in the game.they all seem to be very isolated and above the music, so every little thing you do stands out more than it should.
I've never owned the cartridge (sadly) but throughout the year I've fired up the rom to give it a shot and have always found myself being turned off.
So I just beat Demon's Crest for the first time and wow what a damn good game! This is actually the first time I've actually even given DC a fair shot past the first round.
I know there as been some questions and posts in regard to this before so if need be, by all means delete.
